D.O.A. (1988)

D.O.A. is an American crime-thriller film and a remake of the 1949 film noir of the same name. While it shares the same premise, it has a different story and characters. It stars Dennis Quaid, Meg Ryan, and Charlotte Rampling.

An English professor is the prime suspect of being the one who killed his wife and one of his students because they were close. He later learns that he is also dying because someone gave him a slow acting poison. So he spends his last moments trying to find the one who killed him.
